Celebrating 25 Years with over 25-Hundred Meals

Corporate anniversaries are a time to reflect back and look forward. As the Rose Financial Solutions (RFS) team looks back at the first 25 years, we are so grateful for our success, the people who helped us achieve our goals and the opportunity to make a difference in the world we live in. It is with a grateful heart that we mark our silver anniversary by assembling over 2,500 meals for those in need—that’s 100 meals for every year we have been in business!

At RFS, we’re passionate about giving back to our community through charitable activities. As part of our RFS Gives Back Foundation, our team volunteers to assemble healthy meals for the homeless each year. We then donate the meals to Nourish Now, a 501(c)3 nonprofit food bank that redistributes donations that benefit children, families, the elderly, as well as shelters, food pantries and other organizations working to end hunger.

These 2,500 meals will break RFS’ past record of meals assembled and delivered to families in Montgomery County, Maryland! RFS launched its Meals for the Homeless program in 2008 by assembling 150 meals. Throughout the years, as RFS grew, so did the number of meals assembled and donated.

“Our Meals for the Homeless events are a great way for our team members to bond with one another in their passion for helping our local community,” said RFS CEO, Ted Rose. “I cannot think of a greater way to mark our anniversary than ensuring over 2,500 people in need will have a healthy meal,” said Rose. “I am proud that so many of our employees participate in this great cause.”
