Ted Rose, MBA, CPA, President and Founder
Mr. Rose is a CPA and earned an MBA from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business. Since 1994 Mr. Rose has served as the President of Rose Financial Services (RFS), the premier U.S. based accounting and financial outsourcing firm. Mr. Rose is a guest lecturer for the University of Maryland R.H. Smith School of Business as well as a member of the R.H. Smith Business School Accounting and Information Assurance Board.
Mr. Rose has served as the CFO for a number of growth companies and has assisted with various rounds of financing and M&A transactions. Prior to founding RFS, he was the Corporate Controller of a publicly traded biotech firm and on the senior staff at Price Waterhouse. He is currently the President of the Entrepreneurs Organization DC Chapter, serves on the Board of Directors of the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business Alumni Chapter, and was confirmed by the Montgomery County Council to serve on the Workforce Investment Board on their executive committee. Mr. Rose is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Entrepreneurs Organization, AICPA, MACPA, the NVTC, and BABA. Additionally, the MACPA community & SMARTCEO voted Ted as one of The Best CPA’s in the DC Metro area in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008.
Timothy J. Fargo, CPA, Member and Team Leader
Mr. Fargo is a CPA with over seventeen years of accounting and business management experience. Mr. Fargo has nine years of direct non-profit experience in the design and construction industry. His experience includes management of staff, strategic planning, budget preparation, financial statement presentation, and audit and tax preparation work. Mr. Fargo joined RFS in 2006. Prior to joining RFS, Mr. Fargo was the Senior Vice President of Business Processes and Chief Financial Officer of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA). He led the finance and administrative offices at DBIA for over six years. Prior to DBIA, he was the Controller at the Associated General Contractors of America where he managed the accounting department for a period of three years. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting.
Jeanne M. McMillen, CPA, Member and Team Leader
Ms. McMillen is a CPA with over twenty years of corporate accounting experience. Her background includes major involvement in the government contracting area as well as serving as a key advisor in corporate strategy, strategic ventures, business plans, and product development. Prior to joining RFS, Ms. McMillen was the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hy-Tech Fittings and Components where she directed all financial, accounting and administrative activities for seven years. Prior to that, she was the Controller, Eastern Division for Dames & Moore, Inc., a large, publicly held international engineering company. She graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting.
Lauri Rodich, Member and Director of Business Development
Lauri Rodich has an MBA from Pepperdine University and received her undergraduate degree from California State University at Northridge. Since 2002 Ms. Rodich has served as the Director of Business Development of Rose Financial Services (RFS), the premier Mid-Atlantic accounting and financial outsourcing and staffing firm.
Ms. Rodich began her career at ARA Services Magazine and Book Division before moving to Universal Studios Licensing Division in their contract administration department at MCA Publishing Rights. Ms. Rodich is a strong member of the business community and has held leadership positions in a variety of organizations. She ran for the Montgomery County Public School Board in 2000. She currently serves on the International Committee of the Northern Virginia Technology Council and the Program Committee of the British American Business Association.
Ketan Dave, CPA, Team Leader
Mr. Ketan Dave is a CPA, has a Masters in Accounting, and has over fifteen years of accounting, finance and management experience in a variety of industries. Mr. Dave joined RFS in 2007. Before joining RFS, he served as controller of PortaKamp International, a $60M government contractor that manufacturers modular camps. Mr. Dave’s experience also includes 6 years as Controller with Scaps Industries, wherein during his tenure, the company grew from $10M to $60M. Mr. Dave’s experience includes setting up finance and accounting departments, defining procedures, creating reporting structures, and measuring progress against benchmarks.
James P. Geraghty, MBA, CPA, Team Leader
Mr. Geraghty is a CPA and earned an MBA, with a concentration in finance and investments, from The George Washington University. He has ten years of industry experience including financial reporting, budgeting, auditing, and internal control monitoring. Mr. Geraghty joined Rose Financial Services in 2008. Prior to RFS, Mr. Geraghty was the Controller of The George Washington University Hospital. He led the hospital’s accounting department for six years managing a team of ten staff and reporting monthly financial performance to corporate regional managers. Before joining The George Washington University Hospital, Mr. Geraghty served for three years in the assurance and business advisory services division of Arthur Andersen. His clients included two publicly traded corporations as well as various non-profit healthcare organizations. Mr. Geraghty graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and is a member of the AICPA and PICPA.
